I recently had the chance to try out several seed snacks from Go Raw, a brand that specializes in organic, sprouted seeds in craveable flavors. While I wasn’t expecting anything fancy — it’s seeds, after all — I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor, simplicity, and versatility of each option. These snacks are meant to be clean, plant-based, and easy to enjoy on the go, and for the most part, they really deliver on that promise.
What’s Included in the Lineup
While they offer a few more, I received the following five varieties from Go Raw:
Organic Sprouted Everything Bagel Snacking Seeds
Organic Sprouted Sweet & Salty Kettle Snacking Seeds
Organic Sprouted Sea Salt Sunflower Seeds
Organic Sprouted Chili Lime Snacking Seeds
Organic Sprouted Sea Salt Pumpkin Seeds
Each product is made with just a few ingredients and contains no artificial flavors, preservatives, or fillers. They’re USDA Organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, and vegan. The base of each snack is either pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, or a mix of the two, lightly sprouted for better digestion and enhanced nutrient absorption.
What I Liked (and Didn’t)
First off, the flavor variety is great. The Everything Bagel and Chili Lime flavors had the most kick and felt like a more exciting take on traditional seeds. The Sweet & Salty Kettle ones were a nice change of pace and offered a hint of sweetness without being overly sugary. The Sea Salt varieties are pretty classic, but the sprouted texture does make them feel a bit more special than your average bag of sunflower seeds.
As for the experience, these really are just lightly seasoned seeds, which means I didn’t find them to be very filling; however, that was expected. Personally, I wouldn’t consider them a standalone snack, but more of an add-on to something else or a light bite when I want just a little something to munch on. I also think they’d be an awesome addition to salads or trail mix or even on top of yogurt or smoothie bowls.
Who They’re Best For
If you're someone who enjoys grazing throughout the day or likes to keep your snacks simple and nutrient-dense, these could be a great fit. They're especially handy if you have dietary restrictions, since they cater to vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free needs. I also think they'd work well for parents who want to pack a clean snack in a lunchbox or for anyone looking to swap out chips or crackers for something less processed.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I did find that Go Raw makes snacks that are true to their mission as promised: simple, wholesome, and easy to integrate into a healthy lifestyle. While they weren’t super filling for me on their own, I still enjoyed them and could see myself using them in other dishes. If you’re looking for a clean, crunchy snack to “seed your day,” these are worth trying!
